Plaid, Plaid, Puke

So here it is...My awesome 70's shirt in plaid. Don't be fooled..those sleeves are puffy. I even fitted them better and they're puffy. I like how nicely this shirt turned out, but I don't think I'll be wearing it any time soon. I might consider making it in a solid color and with regular cap sleeves since it was a relatively easy pattern (except for the *#!* ##@** pleats). So...anyone want a crazy plaid shirt??

Btw, I used this pattern.

  1. You're totally fooling me...I can see where the sleeves should be puffy with the gathering/tucking, but they don't look puffy.

The pattern looks kind of funky. I mean pleats, puffy sleeves, and cuffs? Not to mention the collar and front belt loop. It's one of a kind.

Okay, that said...I love it. I love the plaid and I am really happy you did the cuffs and placket in navy blue. :) Glad you're back.

  2. it is a weird shirt and the dress is even weirder. I think it has so much going on that it needs to be made in a solid color. Actually I should have just looked at the pattern front...

thanks for the warm welcome :)
